Effective July 25, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and John Wang, a sole proprietor in Texas ("we", "us"), for the use of DawnPrep. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and where it goes. It is part of this agreement.
DawnPrep is early software, still being built and tested. It is free to use right now. Features may change or disappear, data may be reset, and the service may be unavailable without warning. We do not promise any level of uptime, and we may end the test at any time.
A parent account can be linked to a student account, either by inviting the student to accept, or by creating the student account directly.
We do not verify that a parent account is held by an adult, and we do not verify that a claimed guardian relationship is real. We rely on what you tell us.
Do not:
The practice questions, passages, figures, walkthroughs, and explanations in the service are original material created for this product. They are not College Board material, are not retired or leaked exam questions, and are not licensed from anyone.
SAT and Digital SAT are trademarks of the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product.
The service and everything in it, including the DawnPrep name and logo, belongs to us or to our licensors. We give you permission to use the service for your own studying, personally and non-commercially, for as long as your account is open. That permission does not transfer any ownership to you.
The panda tutor, the walkthrough steps, and the study director are generated by AI models. Their output has not been reviewed by a person before you see it, and it can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, including on questions where the final answer is right.
Treat it as a study aid, not as an authority. Do not rely on it for anything outside studying, and never for medical, legal, or financial questions. Walkthrough steps and tutor replies each carry a report control, and reporting a bad one is genuinely useful to us. Replies from the study director do not carry one yet.
We do not guarantee that using this service will raise your SAT score, or change your score at all. We make no promise about any particular score, score increase, admission outcome, scholarship, or any other result. Score estimates shown in the app are produced by our own model from your practice work. If you or your parent enter an official practice-test score, that score is also blended into the Math estimate, and a recent one carries substantial weight. These estimates are not official scores, they are not produced or endorsed by the College Board, and they may differ substantially from what you get on a real test.
Your answers, notes, reports, and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and use them to run the service, to answer you, and to find and fix problems with our questions and explanations. We do not use your content to advertise to you.
Do not put sensitive personal information into free-text boxes such as report notes or tutor messages. There is no reason to, and we would rather not hold it.
You can stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account yourself from the settings panel, under Account. It happens immediately and permanently, with no grace period and no way for us to undo it. The privacy policy describes exactly what deletion removes and the one record that survives it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we believe belongs to someone under thirteen, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content will be accurate.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities, or academic outcomes, arising out of your use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars. The service is currently free, so there are no fees to refund.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will tell account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
This section is not final. The operating entity and its home state have not been settled yet.
Questions about these terms go to service.dawnprep@gmail.com.
